Guru Shishya Relationship

GURU HRIDAYASTHA DHARAN DIKSHA

It’s never a unilateral process, when a disciple gets to connect with his Guru. The Guru pulls away the disciple from the humongous ocean of humanity, or one may say that only the real disciple gets to reach the feet of the guru, the rest, somehow just don’t get to reach there. When the disciple remains submerged in the worldly crowd, keeps wandering and sauntering, he wouldn’t know what to do, which way to go; and he keeps remaining puzzled and harrowed within his own self only. He remains surrounded by people all around, still feels lonely and insecure. It’s then when he hears that silent beckon from somewhere that soothes his heart, and he sets forth towards that direction. He doesn’t even grasp whether it was he who made the move or some force was driving him (towards his destination—the guru.)

When the disciple arrives (gets to reach the guru), the latter starts giving velocity to shisya’s life, through the power and process of Diksha. The first Diksha is Guru Diksha, which the disciple may take as a normal process. But, in reality it’s an extraordinary happening! This is the first process through which the disciple begins to get connected with the guru. And from here itself starts the process of (Purnatva) total actualization in the life of the disciple. The guru, (a true guru that is) always keeps thinking about the disciples’ incessant and continuous progress wither spiritually or worldly, and he keeps bestowing something or the other in various ways to his Shisya. But this doesn’t mean that the guru should be giving whatever the disciple wishes for oneself. The Guru, being omniscient, knows what is the best for his disciple, what is to be given at which time. That’s why he blesses his disciples with what is necessary at the given moment that which is essential and absolutely prior, a true guru keeps imbuing his disciples’ lives by filling up those lacunae and emancipating the lows.

The prime objective of the guru remains as to how to bring total emancipation in the disciples’ life, as soon as possible. The guru suffers himself to give totality to his disciple, every moment. His sole aim remains to bestow unmatched heights to his disciples, so that no one else could reach there. So that his beloved pupil doesn’t fall back into the life of suffering again, that he doesn’t have to see any decline. This is the beginning of the guru’s workings on the disciple and this is the end also.

Towards this goal, the guru keeps rendering something or the other to his disciple—all the time. Also, the guru keeps in mind as to how the disciple can easily keep floating through the ocean of life, and that no obstacle stops him from attaining completeness in life. Many a times, the disciple doesn’t realize what the guru is doing for him or her. The philosopher’s stone converts iron into gold, and that’s t! but the real guru can covert his disciple into someone like his own self.

In this dynamic relationship of give and take, it’s always the Sadguru who is the giver, and the pupil remains receiving. At times, the guru doesn’t even care about what the disciple years for in the material domain, the only thing the guru remains concerned about is how to make his disciple reach total emancipation—completeness. This giving process remains incessant, continuous as long as the pupil doesn’t attain totality, its only when he or she has attained completion in life that the guru gets to take respite.

When the real guru keeps giving all the time then there is no question of asking anything by the disciple. What needs to be given should be left unto the Sadguru himself. A Sadguru knows it very well as t what is t be given to the disciple, and when! Hence the disciple shouldn’t be asking for anything by his own.

The only thing the disciple h sot right to ask for, is liberation—Mukti. It’s his right, it’s the only thing that the disciple asks for and he gets. And the most important factor for this is that disciple should instill the guru in his every breath, or he becomes engrossed in his devotion towards the guru that nothing else remains noticeable to him. Or the disciple may pray to the guru for blessing the former with the Guru Hridayastha Dharan Diksha.

It’s an immensely important Diksha in the spiritual world and is an imperative for any disciple or seeker. Why is this Diksha necessary? What is so special about this Diksha? Why should this be taken? Many such questions may arise in the mind of the seeker.

Just think for once, what is there in this body that one can take pride in? What is to be found by today’s science’s ripping open this body? You won’t get anything—except for blood and flesh, stool or urine—nothing beyond. The human body by itself is impure and imperfect. Man, enmeshed in the cobweb of attachment and delusions, remains worrying and shackled. There is not a single human being who is all health, happiness and bliss.

Where you have wealth, health is missing, where there is health, one remains lamenting for wealth. Where one has good progeny, there’s no suitable ambience to raise them, where you have a full family, you don’t have bon homie (among the members). This whole world is infested with disparities and this disparity is omnipresent pervading all nations, all societies… every household. In such circumstances how cn a person talk about Self realization and bliss? How can one reach totality?

Going by anatomy, there is no such thing as the soul or Self. Whatever is there is the body, by the end of the day, literally, it all boils down stool and urine. There is no locus for the divine attributes in a typical human body, howsoever deep you dissect it. But when the Guru instills his Diksha into the same body, it gets converted into a temple. Without the Guru Hridayastha Stahpan Diksha— resplendence cannot be happening to this body. This body wouldn’t be anointed by divine fragrance. All that remain are stench and precipitates.

Through Diksha, the guru transforms this body! He dwells in the Pranamaya Kosha (ethereal body) anadamaya Kosha (Bliss body). He appears to be I the human body, but is totally awakened, enlightened super conscious. His kundalini stands aroused, Sahastrara (Crown Chakra) remains totally activated. Whether he eats or not, sleeps or not, the body doesn’t get affected. When one gests to have a glimpse of such a guru, one should try to imbibe such a one in one’s heart. And this is possible, only through Guru Hridayastha Dharana Diksha .

Through this Diksha, the guru gets entrenched into every cell of the disciple. The disciple gets to fathom such depths in spirituality that would otherwise take him births together to accomplish. This Diksha enables the disciple to cover that distance one effort only. The guru rather keeps awaiting his disciple with his arms thrown open, to embrace him and to give him complete emancipation.  The pupil has only to keep doing what the guru asks him to. He just has to oblate a few flowers of devotion at the guru’s feet…
