Deeksha and Shaktipaat: Initiation and Energy Channeling
The whole nine yards of Spiritual journey circumambulates the Guru only, it’s because it’s he who confers Deeksha to the seeker. But, that begs the question as to what is this Deeksha? Deeksha, literally means to confer reprieve. Through Deeksha, the guru confer imparts a part of his Tapasya (spiritual capital) to the disciple, through which he, moving with acceleration in the spiritual path, can achieve success. Deeksha is a relationship of love between the shisya and the guru, and through it the chord between the hearts of the guru and the shisya gets adjoined. The more a disciple progresses in life and his pursuits, the greater does he realize the depth of this bond. And when this happens then only he is deemed fit for his Kundalini awakening. Hence Deeksha stands the plinth on which the construction of the spiritual evolution of a disciple is paved. Nothing is possible without Deeksha, all efforts go in vain without this initiation. Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam: The whole world is one family
We observe that all our life’s movements are as per our various plans and strategies, our lives’ movements keep being orchestrated by these ‘schemes’ only. We keep moving according to these resolves and the alternatives.1 our desires and our wishes keep enforcing our actions, they keep accelerating them. When these wishes are fulfilled we rejoice; when things go adverse we fret. Therefore a major part of our lives goes away encountering dualities and adversities. Nature has bestowed us with free will—to give velocity to our lives as per our own propensity. But, by taking up our lives in our hands we become all the more, even more enmeshed into predicaments and quandaries. So much, that ambiguity, predicament and imbroglio become a significant aspect of our lives, following which, being distraught by these factors we forget to dwell on the fundamental and most important questions of life. Guru Shisya Relationship: GURU HRIDAYASTHA DHARAN DIKSHA
It’s never a unilateral process, when a disciple gets to connect with his Guru. The Guru pulls away the disciple from the humongous ocean of humanity, or one may say that only the real disciple gets to reach the feet of the guru, the rest, somehow just don’t get to reach there. When the disciple remains submerged in the worldly crowd, keeps wandering and sauntering, he wouldn’t know what to do, which way to go; and he keeps remaining puzzled and harrowed within his own self only. He remains surrounded by people all around, still feels lonely and insecure. It’s then when he hears that silent beckon from somewhere that soothes his heart, and he sets forth towards that direction.
